Hola People,</P>


Hows everyone here? As obvious as can be, Im a newbie here. I just purchased a 99 Durango on saturday. Imvery excited. I totally pulled a 180 degree when I was looking for an SUV. I was looking for a small, fuel economy, SUV, like a CRV or a Rav4. But once I took the Durango for a spin, I was hooked. The only crappy thing is that I wont be able to get it til next week. <IMG src=smileys/smiley19.gif border="0"> I dont know if I can hold out that long. Thank you all for allowing me to join the Dodge family. Hopefully, I will have some meaningful posts. <IMG src=smileys/smiley1.gif border="0"></P>

 

Welcome cxlx!! I'm glad you got hooked, but don't get mad, you'll be using a small chunk of change for gas. Why do you have to wait until next weekend? What color is it? First Dodge??

Thanks Dodgegirl for your welcome. Oh yeah, I never mentioned a whole lot did I?? hehe Ok, the Durango is a dark green, its the smaller V8, its the 5.2 liter one, (the one supposely with better gas milage, yeah right). I use to own a Grand Cherokee Limited, that was a 5.9 V8 and it was All Time AWD. So this is a blessing compared to that. I have to wait til next week, cuz this car was a fresh trade, so they have to wait for the title. But its ok, gives me time to sell my old car, which is a 97 Ford ProbeGT. Man, Im going to miss that car. My parking space is on an incline, almost 45 degrees, so I have ALOT of problems just getting into my parking spot when it snows. SO with my Durango, I shouldnt worry anymore. <IMG src=smileys/smiley1.gif border="0">I live in Boston, so we get quite a bit of snow here. </P>

 

I used to live in Concord,New Hampshire, Boston was really a stone's throw from there... I know about snow. The first winter we were there... we got a Noreaster... I'll be damned if I ever see that much snow at one time again! <IMG style="CURSOR: pointer" onclick="AddSmileyIcon'smileys/smiley36.gif'" alt=LOL src=smileys/smiley36.gif border="0">

Our first 2 storms so far this year were a pain in arsh. Sooo much shoveling. Even a snow blower was useless. <IMG src=smileys/smiley5.gif border="0"> Yeah, Im glad that Im selling my Probe too, cuz the dealer wanted to give me freaking $1500. YOU MUST BE JOKING!!! Oh wells. Ill post pics of my plain, stock Durango when I pick it up. Oh man, I cant wait. </P>

Thanks Matt. Sorry for the delayed reply. Been kinda busy trying to sell my car. But finally, I got me a buyer. WOOHOOO!!! I do believe my old car is going to need some serious maintenance in short time, just better off getting rid of it. But hopefully, I get to pick up my Durango tomorrow night. My sales person was trying to convince me to drop the check off and pick up the car, without the title. HAHAHA Yeah, sure. Why not? <IMG src=smileys/smiley36.gif border="0"> </P>
