Default Introduce myself, huh? Works for me.

Hi, my name is Matt.

I actually registered over here to troubleshoot a problem on my parental unit's Ram 1500, but I'm a Mopar guy myself. I own a 1999 Neon ACR Coupe, that has been through hell and back it seems. 2 2.4l swaps, a couple 2.0s, and I recently got sick of the noise brought on by the long-tube header I had on it, so I pulled that off, and replaced it with an SRT4 turbo on my 2.0 engine. Power, fury? After 5 years with this car, I crave neither. I just want quiet! Almost finished with the install, just need to run the IC and piping. Aiming for a sane, reasonable 170whp on stock internals and sidemount. My brother also has a Neon, it's a 98, with a Stratus RT Turbo (mexi-motor) block, and a T3/4 hybrid hairdryer on it. His is the exact opposite of mine, flashy, fast, loud, when i'm going for sleeper, quick, and quiet. Fun car though.

Anyhow, i'm rambling... if you have any clue on the Ram troublecodes, peep in on the 2g Ram forum, otherwise, you can probably find me mostly hanging out in the Neon forum.

Cheers, all!

Yep, I did. Can't fault the car on any of them.
Engine 1: 55K miles, on my way to an autocross, 5K RPM around a corner, a quart low on oil. Bearings went BOOM.
Engine 2: 2.4l, 62K miles, Hydrolocked.
Engine 3: 2.4l, 69K miles, Bad rebuild + oil starvation. Nuked every bottom-end bearing during a trackday, 2300 miles from home.
Engine 4: 2.0l, junkyard engine outta the front yard. Still in there at 115K, just pulled it for turbo install. Had a barely-out headgasket, and cam-seal, did both, bolted SRT stuff up, and threw it back in. Pics to follow of the engine when it's done.

Yes, I run the car. Used to do lots of autocross, but got tired of wasting all day for 3m of seat time. Done some drag racing, car ran 15.3 on the 2.4l. Really needed cams. I ran a 14.2 on Engine 4, I/H/PCM, and slicks only. Just a really strong motor, I guess. Never apart until I tore it down last week.

I do have pics of my and my bro's cars. No pics of the Ram, it's your basic canopied, lifted Brilliant Blue 1500 though.
One of my favorites of his car:

His and mine:

Just mine:
