yup, another newbie to this site, but not to forums.

i sold my old tuner car for a toy hauler. bought a 2001 dodge dakota 4dr 4.9ltr 4x4 slt w/tow package to get the job done. sorry, dont have many pics, except for the one of me getting pulled out of the DEEEEP mud by my friend at the mounds on thanksgiving day this year. as far as i know, the truck is stock, including the suspension. not entirely sure tho. i have some 265/75 16's on there now, but plan on fitting some 31x10.5's. and then reading some suspension threads about turning the torsion bars up. gotta read about it before tho.

anyways, i am a sportbike racer as well as an extreme snowboarder (yes, i mean heli-boarding). i ride a 2002 gsxr600 on the track and a 2004 cbr1000rr on the street (that does 9.7sec 1/4 miles all day long-all motor). im a circuit rider, not a drag rider tho. i also detail high end exotic cars. i work at a lamborghini, bentley, maserati, alfa rameo, spyker, rolls royce, and saleen dealership.

im not sure if ill mod the truck much. i do know i wanna put some meaty tires on it, install my pioneer premeir 860mp deck from my old car and maby my amps, then upgrade the crappy infinity oem system thats in there now. but its mainly used for toy hauling, and the occasional wheeling adventure with some friends.

 

heres a couple pics of the truck. just got done wheeling out the paint. i got alot of "redneck pinstripes" last time out wheeling thru some tight trails.

hey guys, take a look at the ride height and let me know if it looks higher than stock. i looked underneath the front and rear, but didnt see anything out of the ordinary. also, anyway to tell if the front torsion bars have been jacked up?

yeah, i found the dak section. but didnt think my question warranted another thread that may or may not have been discussed a million times before. nothing worse than a newb asking the same dumb *** questions over and over again on forums. i figured someone would check out the thread and maby give me a heads up.
