Introductions from SK
Before i go any further, i might as well introduce myself.
Im Darren, im from saskatoon saskatchewan. I come from a dodge family, my dad and i own a 1970 numbers matching fully restored 383 h.o. road runner, and an original 1980 dodge midnight express, navy blue 4wd. also in the family is a 1965 VIP, 1963 plymouth scamp, a concorde, my intrepid (police edition chipped 3.5 with a shift kit and limited slip) my dads 1998.5 dodge 2500 cummins ram, my old jeep cherokee (five inch lift, 31's, lockers, setup for serious offroading, even on small tires) and of course, my 2000 dodge rumble bee 1500.
Shes got a flopro dual exhaust system, stereo, 2wd, 318 with an automatic, 135,000km (bout 70,000 miles or so, give or take, my math is terrible.) Ive owned it for about two months, so far best set of wheels ive ever owned. Fun, fast, looks good, sounds good, rides great, shes been an absolute gem.
As for me, Im 22 years old, my original occupation is autobody, but with the job shortage here in saskatoon im currently working in construction. I build custom bikes in my spare time, i have put together a few custom harleys, built a wild euro-style streetfighter out of an 87 cbr600 hurricane, and an oldschool *****-out bobber from a '78 kawi kz650. as youve proably guessed, my specialty is rice. ive also put together a few cafe racers, and done some custom frame and body work for a few other streetfighters. im hoping someday i can make a living in building bikes, but for now thats still just a dream.
anywyas, looking forward to getting to know some folks, share some info, and learn as much as i can about my new little beasty. heres a few pics of when i bought her, ill post some updated pics sometime soon.
