My first Dodge was also a hemi. A Super Red Ram hemi Custom Royal Lancer (1955).

 

I shoulda knew that. Was at the dodge site a few days ago price comparing Magnums [8D]

Actually, So was mine, a 1955 Dodge Lancer. I almost forgot, but I was 16 years old then (not in 1955 )
This is the first hemi I purchased "New" . This forum is insane with Idea's, I don't know where to start[&:] I got the RT in August 2004 after
I saw the commercial with the Surfboard and a couple of 2x4's in the back. I was about to buy the 300C but, I couldn't find one with the 5.7 Hemi.My Wife thought this would make us both Happy............It Did!!! Thanks for all your great replies. As soon as the weather breaks up here in the Northeast, I'll figure it out . Pipes, wheels and maybe the front nose from the new 2006 SRT-8 ( Gee, maybe I should have waited........Doh!)

My first Hemi was in a 66 Dodge Charger That I had bought while serving in the Marines. I got it new ,and it had two four barrel carbs. sucked gas .I got four miles to the gallon using super Shell at .33/9c a gallon. Now my 04 sucks gas at $1.79/9 a gallon. Only good thing is this one uses regular.
