Hey im a newbie, I own a 93 dodge shadow and am looking to turn it into a rally car

You probably picked a decent car to do that with. What engine/tranny do you have? You did say RALLY car, not meaning AUTOCROSS car, right? The body and chassis will have to be beefed up for sure.

yes rally, and i have the 3 speed auto with a 2.2L. I plan to change that with the 2.5 turbo and a 5 speed manual, change the brakes, wheels, and suspension. As for stregthening the structure i dont know what im going to do yet.

 

Hahaha. That's going to be pretty intense. You'll have to tie the unibody together I'd imagine as a minimum.

haha that sounds dope!! I used to have a 1994 plymouth sundance with the 2.2L in it. Great little car, I had it for over 3 years and it never did me wrong! Sounds like a great idea to rally that SOB!! Let us know how it goes homie and good luck to ya. Plus, most definately get the 2.5L turbo, with the size of the shadow, it will cruise=)

 

I found the blue prints to a '92 Rally Shadow, but it was already a 5 speed manual and it is also the Shelby verson. Although I would like to see it when your done. Good luck.
