Fishing? ****!!! New Zealand is the fishing capital mate, coast land amoung coastlands of spieces and places to fish, you are bascially within 2 hours from the sea maximum where ever you live in New Zealand. Most people are only within 20-30 minutes so getting out isn't a hassle. I prefer the land base game fishing myself, boats are too easy.

Here's a NZ fishing site. Snapper and Kingfish are our prime targets then you can get into deep water fishing speieces....from Hapuka to Marlin etc etc

You should come down, nows the season when it really heats up. Winter is also good that when you catch the largest fish all the old timers stay out while the younins head out to wwarmer waters. Oct-April is best, summer dec-March.

Thankls for the comments on the cars guys!

SXTNNY Thanks!! Heaps of jobs down here, what do you like or do? A lot of Americans down here snapping up some pretty prime beachfront land.

Hey Ramfan,

Yip it's bloody good mate. Fresh water pretty much takes the back seat although we have a huge commet hole called Taupo lake which is massive like a mini ocean that fresh water fisherman dribble over but ocean, boat and surfcasting pretty much rules the rod.
