Hello,new to this forum and Mopars. I just purchased a 1949 Dodge pick up truck and the previous owner replaced the flathead 6 with a slant 6. The installation is not complete and I need to relocate the alternator from the passenger side to the drivers side. I know some slant 6's had there alternators on the drivers side but I do not know which vehicles and what years. Could someone please help me out with this and also tell me where I could purchase the alternator bracket for the drivers side? I believe the slant 6 I have is from a 1965 Coronet.
