Another freakin newbie
Hi all, my name is Geoff. I recently acquired a 1999 slt durango.
Knowing the one of the best info sources are the owner forums thought I'd join.
My background, twenty-five years as a mechanic, specializing in drivability. recently have changed over to the marine industry. deciding to buy a boat liveaboard & start global cruising in the next few years.
The truck needs some fixing before I do much of any upgrades but the t-bar jack & shackles come first as you can see the air in the current tires & I want 33/1050'S.
Then its replacing time, brakes, ball joints, bushings, u-joints, & ft wheel brgs.
after that I'll do something about the avrg 11mpg.
Anyway, good to be here & I will be happy to contribute my knowledge when I can.
