ok so right now i have a 2007 mustang gt and am trying to part with it..i now have a 8 month old and its getting tough putting her in the stang and getting her out, not to mention trying to go to the store...so i came across a 2005 magnum r/t with 90k on the clock...how dependable is this engine and tranny (i know nothing of dodge engines only ford)...should i get it..budget is tight do to the child..i want something with power but functional ya know.

 

Welcome to the site. I never had a problem with the 4.7 liter or the 5.7 liter engines ot their transmissions that were on my Durangos,
