Hello from Kingston, Ontario, Canada
Hi all,
I'm the proud new owner of a new to me 2008 Dodge Dakota SLT. 4.7L, Quad Cab, 4x4 in mineral gray metallic. A friend who recently upgraded to a RAM raved about the towing abilities of the 2004 Dakota 4.7L he had and since I was looking for something bigger than my 4.3L ZR2 Blazer for towing my travel trailer I thought I'd give one a try. While searching I heard about the upgrade on the 2008 or newer model 4.7L engines to 302hp so now I knew the model and the year I was looking for. Found one in good condition with low miles and the SLT was just a bonus. Just loving the truck so far and its mineral gray color. It's a little early to tell but it looks like the gas mileage is comparable or better than the blazer as well.
First thing to do now is to find a good soft tonneau to cover up that box .
