Default New to DF, heck, new to Dodge...

Hi everyone! Just went out and picked up a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. Love the truck. Want to mod it out already, because I know it has more in there.

I've had other cars that I've modded, here's a few:

2003 Volkswagen Jetta 1.8T - Upgraded turbo and more
2000 Chevy Camaro SS - bunch of bolt-on mods
1999 Chevy Tahoe LT - 383 engine, standalone DFI, built trans and more

I'm ready to jump in, truck is in good mechanical/physical shape (checked out today). Just wondering what a good starting point would be. Maps are good...

Thanks all!

Nice ride!
You can probably find some good advice on your truck in the Ram section.

Welcome to DF.

I would start w/ a nice magnaflow high flow XL cat back stainless exhaust, then work on a intake AEM make a nice cold air system for the magnum engine. I would say for perfomance and sound magnaflow would be the only way to go for a exhaust from the headers back. Then maybe work on your ignition sytem and exhaust headers check out Summit's web sight to get a idea on whats out there.Good Luck with it!
