Just picked up a 05 Dakota and i need to know what the trailer brake codes for the factory supplied harness that plugs in under the dash are.
The Dodge plug has:
Green w Black stripe, Blue w White Stripe, White w Red stripe, Solid Blue (thicker Wire)
I need to connect the brake controller to this harness.

to connect a trailer brake controller in your truck there is a totaly different harness that needs to be hung. The harness you have is only a flat 4 prong plug. what your looking for is a round 7 pin plug that will have to be fabricated and installed

 

Thanks, but I need to know which wire to connect to the controller inside the cab under the dash.
I was supplied the Dodge harness that plugs into the under dash wires and is supposed to connect to the brake controller I purchased.

 

do u have a 2wd or 4wd and whats the engine size and liter? i can look up the wiring diagram on all data
