Ole dodge out of arkansas
So i dont actually have a dodge but my buddy does am im gonna try to help him out with it a lil although i dont know much about dodge specifics and im just starting to learn carbs.
The truck is an 82 reg cab short bed 4wd with a 360 and a 3 speed. Its a royal something or other he said.
What section do you think i would get the most help out of on this forum when it comes to engine and tranny questions. First thing we are gonna try to get straightened out is the carb and fuel system and the timing.
I ordered a timing light and a vacuum gauge to get started with.
Its got a carter carb on it....Is this supposed to be the stock carb?...Im hoping to get him to buy a holley 4150 for it.
Anyway Ill save this stuff for later.

Oh yeah about the carb.....I remember he said the guy he bought it from is a mopar guy and the carb actually came off of one of his drag cars at the time. His drag cars arent monsters or anything btw....but i still think theres a chance his carb is too big. Also we dont really know about the cam...he just said its supposedly fairly mild. Any reccomendations on anything?
