Default New guy from GA here ! Question on 5.7 Hemi

Hey Gang,

I just joined. I have a few mopars, (2) 69 Charger 440 cars, 71 Demon w/360, 89 D150, wife's 05 Town and Country and my daily driver a Hemi 1500. Hope to learn about the new stuff here.

My 2004 Hemi Quad Cab 1500 with 104K miles just laid down on me coming back from Carlisle. Not sure what happened yet, but I have a dead cylinder. She made it 900 miles though with that dead cylinder.

I bought a 06 Hemi from a Charger with 24K miles to put in it. Any idea of what changes I might need to do? The 06 is a mds engine. If I move my harness over to it, will it work in my non-mds 04 truck?

Thanks for any insight !!

Where is the Demon? The Chargers are cool, but Demon's are the best,

I just picked this Demon up as my son's first car. It has a '98 360 in it, new drivetrain, brakes, suspension. Needs body and interior work. I look forward to working on it with him, but more importantly, I want himto learn the value of working to make money so you can own and work on your own car. The pride that comes from that and the respect for something you've put blood, sweat and tears into is my ultimate goal.

He's only 12, so he has plenty of time. I got a good deal on the car, so I decided to snap it up. He already has plans for it. Hemi Orange, go-wing, hood scoops. LOL, now he just needs $$$.
