Wow, congrats on the Durango. I've always wanted one of those beauties and may I say good for you for not getting one of 'em new Durangos... Not a fan... Not a fan AT ALL. Enjoy it, it's one of the best vehicles ever produced.

Thanks Vader!!

daei, thanks as well and like you I'm not a big fan of the new Durangos.

I'm getting ready to do some little upgrades so if anyone know of any wheels that look good on an '02 let me know.

OH and by the way I'm a little miffed at the dealership that I got my Durango from and maybe someone has some good advice here....

The keyless remote wasn't working and the salesman told me that the batteries just needed to be replaced. I replaced the batteries, still nothing. I was told that it needed to be programmed and took it to the Dodge dealership, they told me $240 to replace some module. I started laughing until I contacted the salesman I bought and from then started fuming. Needless to say he won't call me back or return my emails. Tomorrow I'm having a whole new keyless system put in for $90. I haven't taken my title to my trade-in yet and I'm planning on holding it hostage until they pay the bill for the new system.

Any thoughts are welcome here!!!!

What is upsetting is that I don't even have a job and by the time I have enough money to buy the old Durango, it will be quite old. It's really not fair. I'll buy it anyway. 1998- 2003 Durango all the way... YEAH!!!! As for the redesigners of the Durango... Quit your jobs.

ORIGINAL: Durango Dawn

Just bought a '02 Durango SLT! Glad I found this site!

Maybe I'll have a picture up soon...everytime I get ready to take one it rains again! UGH!
By the way, how does it feel to be the owner of a 2002 Dodge Durango... The new car smell, getting the key, one of the good years.. How does it feel?

My poor Durango! I haven't even owned it two weeks and it was broken into last night!!! Someone (I'll call them the Sorry MFer) busted out a window and didn't get away with much...there was nothing in it. The cops think they got spooked and had intended to take the whole thing, they left behind their cell phone car charger. Too bad it didn't fit my phone!!!!

Welcome aboard Dawn! Sorry to hear about your truck.

I had an 85 honda accord that people would break into regularly just for the spare change in the console, but I later rolled that car and never had that problem again...............
