Welcome to DF! Why not just replace the exhaust with like a flowmaster? Those sound excellent.

Btw, post this in the Ram forum

Welcome to Dodge Forum. The glasspack will be real loud and may actually reduce the lowend torque of the motor. Many people have noticed that they lose a bit after changing the muffler. Removing the resonator does help a little bit, but for a good sound any aftermarket systems will be an improvement.
