Hello All. New Ram owner here.
Hi everyone. Just bought an 07 Ram 1500 yesterday. 4.7, 6 speed manual, 4x4, ST package (nothing fancy) and 59K miles. I drove 230 miles to pick it up. It's hard finding a standard transmission, V8 truck around here. Figured up the mileage on the drive home and got 18.8 mpg. That was a combination of 4 lane highway (about 1/2 of the trip) and 2 lane road through the mountains.
This is my first Mopar anything. I've had mostly GM, a few Fords and some foreign jobs. So far so good. Decent power and not a bad ride for a truck. I'll be lurking and learning on here. I don't have any major plans for it. First up will be some aggressive tires that will do good in the snow. I plan on swapping out the muffler with a glasspack of some sort for a bit more sound (I like to hear what I'm driving) and maybe later look into some kind of CAI.
