New Here
Hello, I just joined and would like to introduce myself. My name is Bob and have been lurking in these forums for the past few days... I'm an old (not real old.. 48) Mopar fanatic. I don't know why these vehicles have had this grip on me after all these years, it started in 1965 when I was a kid.
Without sounding like a therapy session, my dad would take me slot car racing on Sundays after church .... he hand fabricated the cars and I raced them. His best car was a tube frame with sidewinder motor and replica 906 Porsche body. We'd get home in time to catch the Dodge and Plymouth's dominate NHRA and NASCAR events on ABC Wide World of Sports. Those were the good 'ole days....
Now that I can afford a real car, and I've had many..... these past few years I've come home to regain my heritage. Dad has been gone for over ten years... I think he'd really want a new 2006 Charger, even with 4 doors . In August of '69, he bought a new Charger with a 383. I remember the test drive in a new Super Bee and the 1970 Hemi Challenger that was sitting on the showroom floor.... with a window sticker a little over $5 grand. I tried to get him to buy the Challenger.... he just said it wouldn't make a good vacation car.
Well after all these years I finally have a Hemi in my stable .... and I'm getting ready to secure a new 2005 Power Wagon in a few days to use as a tow vehicle. Take a look and enjoy ....

Thanks for the nice comments. I don't race it, its just a very fast show car ...
It's not strip legal anyway due to HP rating on this motor ...
562ci stroker
636 HP @5,300 rpm
708 ft lb @ 4,000 rpm
Magnesium Cross Ram
2x4 780 Holley's
Chrysler Aluminum Heads
Keith Black Crank
Bunch of other stuff ....

RE: New Here
Yup, that's what I mean.
The math says it should run mid-to-high 10s if it hooks.
Need to have a cage if the car runs sub 12s.....
As of right now it's still a bit violent ... meaning, you wouldn't want to be in the other car next to me.
Brings a whole new meaning to the term "blowing your doors off".
