Hi I'm not really new, I just come on here when my baby is mad at me and acting up. I love my Durango, but what is with all the maintenance, jeez. Sorry, first time dodge owner. I have a 2000 Durango with the 4.7 liter V-8 and 4 speed automatic trans. It is all wheel drive and loaded. The SLT+ version and I love it. But my miles are getting up there and starting to show it in the maintenance category. She has 130,000 miles.
Thanks
Aaron

Hey everyone, yeah, I'm a newbie here. Just bought a 98 Dakota and I'm checkin out resources. I've been a Mopar fan for many years. My first car was a 70 Charger R/T, 383 Mag, 4 speed and bald tires! Way too much car for an 18 year old. As a matter of fact the previous owner didn't even want to sell it to a teenager. It didn't take me long to figure out why, I rolled it 3 months after I bought it. Total loss, but nobody was injured, thank goodness.
My Dakota is a pretty basic truck. It has the 2.5L 4, 5-Speed, regular cab. I chose it because I'm a commuter and homeowner. I travel 40 miles one-way to work and my first tank of gas averaged out to 23.9 MPG. I'm satisfied with that, but improvement is always welcome.
Looking forward to giving and receiving information here, so don't hesitate to post to me anytime, I'm not shy!
