RE: If Your A Newbie, Post And Int
Hey, thought I'd do the newbie thing and add my 2 cents. first off happy valentines day to everyone. Now about me. I own (2) Dodges. First is a 96 Grand Caravan, (hey, i'm a family man) with a 3.0L v6, a670 trans (the 3 speed auto the better of the front drive auto's). Baught this van in '04 with 37xxx miles on it, very goog shape. It now has 71xxx and has been very good to us. I have only had to replace (at dealerships cost!!!!) (2) sway bar links and bushings, (1) transmission (at my cost, which i rebuilt my self for approx. $400), and breaks once all around. Not bad if you ask me.
Now for my favorite vehical. The second Dodge I own is an 89 Ram d250,it's 2 wheel drive with a 3.9L v6 (yes that's right, samesize aswas in my wifes 88 dakota when i met her) mated to an a904 trans. I baught this truck in 04 also. It had sat behind some guy's house for at least a few years, maybe a lot of years. I found the truck while plowing this guy's drive way one day. He was in a bad way and ended up passing away a little while later. His sister decided to sell off his misc vehicals and I got this one for $500. This truck looks great. Underneath the frame is still black, body is still in white paint and with only 70XXX miles on it, it has a lot of life left. Now this truck has sat, outside, no cover, in tall grass for who knows how long. The day I paid for the truck I changed oil, trans fluid, new battery, some new gas, and after a few cranks of the motor, BOOMshe fired right up. I have only had (in 2 years) replace pickup coil in distributer, TPS, and Oxy sensor. As of now it is acting up again but I will post that in the First Gen. forum.
These are my Dodges, feel free to ask questions or even comment.
thanks for your time.
Zeb

Hello everyone, im a newbie thats been lurking around for a month reading mostly the posts in the ram 3rd gen section, because thats my next purchase.
I grew up loving mopars due to my older brother, he drag raced a 68 roadrunner, and had a 70 roadrunner for the street, and etc. throughout the years.
I had Dodge trucks previously before my Jeep, and its time for another.
This forum is really informative and friendly, glad to be a part of it now.

Hello everyone, Phil here, new to the site but it looks pretty cool and very helpful. I just bought a $200 1987 D150 and as you might guess from the price it can use a little work. Hopefully I can find some brains to pick here.

Hi, new here and have found a lot of useful info for my '98 ram 2500 qc sport 4x4, which i've had for a couple years now. I also had an '87 d150 ram and a '70 3/4 ton ram previously.
