A friend from another forum told me about you guys. Great place ya have here!
I used to have a '70 RR with the 440 6-pac and grabber hood. It fell to a plethera of deer crossin' the road many years ago.[&o]
That was the best performing car I've ever owned. Now building a '80 Vette, but please don't flame me, I will always have a special place in my heart for MOPAR!!!
I never got taken down by Chevys or Fords! (it took 5 mule deer to do it)
My parents had a '68 440 Coronet, '68 Charger, and a '73 Charger.
A bud of mine and I ruled the roads in our town with my RR and his '69 Super Bee. It was a flip of the coin as to who would win when we raced. He's the only one that ever beat me, but I beat himtoo. Never more than a front fender, we had a good match.

MOPAR or no car, only left me walkin a few times ;-) Since I was 14 I've always had a Dodge truck or two lurking in the tree row, never had much use for cars. Currently I have a 2003 2500 Cummins QC 4x4 on 35" BFGsaffectionately known as the Black Bastard, a 1995 2500 360 regular cab 4x4that is undergoing some surgery for being puny and ugly, it isknown as the White Whale, a 1978 D200 360 regular cab 4x4 that lives on the farm and has 87K original miles, it had 82K on it when I bought it in 96 or 97, it is known as The Big Brown Pig and my favorite dirty little secret is a 1986 Toyota 4Runner with a heavily modded 4 banging riceburner that turns 33" tires faster than any of the Dodges :-( it is known as the Blue Goose. (wanna guess what color any of them are?) I've been stealing info from this site for awhile when I was fighting issues on the Black Bastard and swapping an engine in the White Whale, figured it was about time to join and say Thanx to all those contributors that gave me some ideas. Just bought a 2006 Ram Quad Cab Hemi. had two Dakotas over a spanse of 9 years that served me well. Strangely both died due to head on collisions with drunk drivers. Decided that it was time to up my game and go for the Ram. If you ever wonder how your Dodge will stand up to a head-on collision, browse my pics coming soon. You won't wonder anymore. Won't ever drive another vehicle but a Dodge truck now.
