RE: If Your A Newbie, Post And Int
Heya.
Well...first time Dodge owner here. Generally was with Ford and Chevy for the past 20 years, but something about the new Avenger caught my eye (not to mention it had 4 doors and my wife's preggers)
So anyways...I traded in my 2001 Monte Carlo SS/High Sport Package for a 2008 Avenger in Marathon Blue Pearlcoat. It's the SXT edition with the 2.7L 6 Cylinder with FlexFuel (E85 capable). So far so good
EDIT: LOL...as I said that...Dodge came out with a recall on the Avenger for the doorlocks or something Also, if you get the FlexFuel edition, the gas cap is different. Make sure gas attendants tighten it right...otherwise you'll have a "Check Engine" lamp lit.

RE: If Your A Newbie, Post And Int
Hello all, just joined so I guess I'll throw in a post here. I don't have a dodge right now but I've been eyeing the newer dakota's so I've been reading up (which is how I found these forums actually ). I grew up in a dodge family, even passed my license test in my mom's '02 Ram (now my dad's) but funny enough I haven't had one of my own yet. My first car was a 93 sierra 2wd that was given to me, then I upgraded to a 95 Z71 silverado, sold that when gas prices skyrocketed (350 + $4 a gallon is not a good combination) and picked up a 94 Integra GSR. While the gsr was a fun little car I missed having a truck so when a friend offered a 98 Isuzu Trooper to me for dirt cheap I couldn't pass it up. Now I'm looking for a pickup again.
Whew, ok rant is over, LOL.

Newbie checking in...been lurking on these forums for a while looking for ways to get a few extra ponies out of my HEMI. So far, this seems like a great site!
