Hi I am a new member and have a question about my car. I have a 1982 dodge 400 convertible.and I am having an electrical problem. my battery light comes on while driving the car. I had the alternator checked and volt reg and both checked out fine. but light still comes on. the battery is charged. but when I turn on lights or radio or anything that uses power the battery light comes on. any help would be great. this is a great site. Diane

Hey, I just got myDodge about2 months ago. It's a98 Stratus 2.4L -Automatic -Sedan - Red. Needs a new front bumper, rear passenger door, minimalhood ruston the front lip,e-brake adjustment, and has a slight tick in the engine. Sounds like a bearing going bad. My freind had the same soundin his jeep and it turned outto be a bearing. So if anyone has tips and must knows about this kind of problem, fill me in.Other than that itdrives beautifully and drifts like a dream on fresh snow. :-) We actually hit some black ice on the way to taking some freinds to school this morning and it handled well. We un-intentionally pulled a tokyo style drift with the nose up against the guard rail. We were lucky that no other cars were comming.

My plan is to tune it up to handle these back roads were I live.

Fix the bearings before anything.
Fog-lamps ( its like silent hill on the way to work in the mornings )
Head-lamps
Body kit / paint job ( black or brit racing green w/whiteoffsetracingstripe)
Suspension ( the only good thing about ohio winter is that the pot holes are filled up
Larger / wider weels &rims.
Turboor supercharger. not sure wich way to go yet.
