Hello all:
First, thank you I have been reading your posts to learn about my truck. My hobby is back yard mechanic. You guys are very good.
At Christmas, I went looking for a good truck and this one was the best deal I found. 1999 1500 Laramie SLT 5.9 125000 miles. The previous owner was over 70. So i figure this one towed RV's to Florida.
The tranny shifts smooth, Undercarriage is extremely clean, & getting 11 MPG. Though I am light on the foot.
I seldom take my rides to the mechanic or dealer, but I have, after I've tried. If I do it performace parts go in.

I'm John from Colorado Springs CO, finaly got the toy I've been looking for.
I joined to give some a laugh, and hopefully get some good direction. Im about to start a thread about my '73 Challenger overhaul, stop by and give ideas and suggestions. I'm at the beginning, and im not sure what direction I want to take.....once the thread is up I want your 2cents.
