I'm new to the site, and just bought my 2009 Ram 1500 Crew Cab two weeks ago. I previously owned a 99 Ram 1500 QuaD 4X4(which was bought new) but traded it in on the new one. Looking forward to the info provided on the site.

Hey, My name is Gil I live in Florida and I am a horse person. I have many friends that like me have horses and over the years I have had several trucks. But just picked up a great deal on a Ram 1500 (1999). Everyone tells me it is the truck for the job. Towing takes a toll on a GM or Ford, and don't seem to hold up. My friends Dodge seem to hold up much longer than mine, so it has proven it's self to me. I love the truck and it does pull great. I wish I had found this out sooner, it would have saved me a lot of headaches.
Hi everyone. My name is Chris and I'm NJ. I currently own a 1992 Dodge Stealth STD, but it is in need for repairs due to transmission problems. This is my second car to own. My first was a 91 Plymouth Acclaim and I loved that car to death because it never broke down on me. Anyways, my Stealth is awesome and I test drove it with my godfather. For the specs, of course it has a 6 cylinder 3.0L engine, but has 12 valves and not the 24. It's an automatic and currently has I think 122,000 miles on it.
Anyways, I'm glad that I joined and I am looking forward in hearing from all of you especially the Stealth guys. But I'm surprised about the average mpg on Dodge Ram trucks. I read some of the posts on another thread about the average mpg on trucks and I think that's just brutal especially in the wallet. I can't imagine on how much you guys spend on gas on top of insurance and maintenance.
