Default New mechanic to the site

Whats going everyone? I am a certified mechanic that use to work for a shop in Jacksonville, FL for 5 years while i was in the Navy. I have been building cars for bout 9 years now, race for about 12 years, been competing and building cars and trucks from local to major shows, plus i have a car club called ClubTRK. I had a choice between an 2006 Dakota ST (3.7 auto) and a new Ranger Stepside (4.0 5 speed) for my personal company truck, and chose the Dakota because the Ranger just too small. I got 22's, custom grill, and new flowmaster exhaust system with side exhaust, and other goodies. This is my daily driver to trailer my Custom RHD Toyota that will be finish mid summer next year. Anyhow i live in St. Louis, Missouri right now working as a civil engineer for Illinois DOT, but headed back to school in a couple weeks to finish up my last year in Rolla! Hope you enjoy, I got alot of pics but these are just a few from my gallery! Major upgrades coming in a week and a half!

Work done right after getting the truck, the grill is silver in this one!

Glad you came to check things out here. You're gonna get a lot of help from the guys in the 3rd Gen Dakota section. Search for my thread 'LED tails and 3rd brake light' for some of the links that I shared.

Welcome to DF.

I'll be 65 years old this December. Heck, I'll get my "formal invite" to Medicare next month!

Electrician Mate i know quite a few of them, hard workers at least some lol and of course you have you dirt bags as well haha lol. You were in when it was the true Navy, when boot camp was truly hell. Things have softened up since then, but I was an Aviation Jet Mech(AD) until promotions were scarce then went to RP which brought me over to the marine side and gave me my FMF pin. I have alot of respect for all military members, because while we have the media to filter how we see the world, only military really knows how the world truly see us (Americans) and the hardships every place face!
