Virgin Truck Owner!
Hello everyone..
Well go figure. I'm 51 years old and just bought my first truck. Looks pretty clean for 169,000 miles. I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 Club Cab SLT with the 5.9L engine.
It's got a nice fiberglass tonneau cover on the back. It was missing the locking mechanism, but I ordered it and installed it yesterday. Took the locking handle to a local locksmith and had a couple keys made for it, so now I'm all set to be able to lock up the bed.
I've heard about steering wobble and the $120 brace to fix it. Not sure how I feel about that yet. Anyway, I look forward to learning about the care and feeding of my new (to me) truck!

The trucks seems to be running great! But mind you, since it's my first, I might be impressed with a "limp" ride..
But I've had a back catalytic converter before and know how it chokes out the power. So I'm thinking this one is safe. But I gotta say, I am feeling the need to go get a big black Stetson hat!
