New guy with troubles

Default New guy with troubles

Hello all, i made a intro but not sure were it went new at this . im haveing some trouble with a 6.7 its a 08 model 4x4 2500 and it is a prior salvage truck that was hit in the front drivers side with that being said i thought the air cooler was ok but there is a small hole in the top of it . the problem is it has no power and it smokes like really bad going down the road even in over drive and there is several egr codes in it and on the egust they have taken the muffler and converter off but the egr stuff is still on it and there is no programer that i see on the truck is it ok like this as far as the muffler goes or do i need something differant and im really concered about this smokeing on the truck i have been hearing some things about a converting kit of some kind but i know nothing at all about it all help needed thank you all who help me out thank you

Your post should be moved the Diesel section to get the right help. What color is the smoke? Blue, black or white.

Its all black smoke someone told me it was caused by the hole in the intercooler but i didnt know that would cause it They said it was de fueling its self ?

Default Radiator issues

Hello everyone I got a good one I'm stuck on. 03 1500 has coolant issues, 3 years ago I replaced a radiator I got from performance radiator 7k later I had to replace with another it split on the seam. So with the second one I replace wp, hoses, thermo, an heater core. It's been 28k later an the radiator an heater core are bad again what am I doing wrong?

You should have posted in the Ram section and not in the new member section. This way someone maybe able to help you. Just start a new thread in the Ram section.
