help please

I am about to purchase my first pick-up truck (don't know anything about it) and I am having a big dilemma should I go with a newer model 2009/10 ram1500 3.7 v6 RWD or get an older one 2004/5 ram2500 5.7 v8 FWD?

What type of warranty will you have with the 2009/10 vs the 2004/05 with a hemi? And fuel mileage.
