Smile Newbie dddon / hello from minne soda

I have already had a big benefit from this forum , through the thread that i started ,i was shown the solution to the problem of my headlights!!
anyway a bit about me... I am father of 4 (so far) ...grandfather of 23 ..... (so far) and great-grandfather of 11 .. (whew!!) I retired from 30 years in research . I own a number of Mopar vehicles ...
in my very limited exposure to the threads on this forum, I noted that MANY of the problems that occur are from poor / bad contacts of one kind or another ... And i got to thinking what a brother-in-law (he was an aircraft mechanic and the finest mechanic I every met) many years ago told me how the aircraft industry solved most of their contact problems.... all the plug-in connections were / are packed with non conductive grease .... is there any reason that could not be done on vehicles ?? gotta be better than the way things are now !! I have greased the battery terminals on my autos for 50 years now, and have rarely had a contact problem there. I hope I get some constructive comments ... best to all!!
