New here, what do you think of the Ram?
I guess that is obvious if I am posting in the new-be section...
I actually am not a dodge owner, yet... We are looking to get a 05 Ram this evening and I am either looking for someone to talk me out of it or tell me how great it is...
The truck
05 SLT Quad cab 4x4
Hemi
Auto
Tow package
Premium seats
and a few more things..
What do you Didge guys think, are they good or do they have issues I don't know about...

I am glad everyone thinks so...
We picked it up last night...
05 Mineral Gray QC SWB 4x4
Hemi, Auto, Tow group, protection group, light group, and a few other things...
God I love this truck I drove it home from the dealership (2 states away, but this is the East Coast so that was only a little more then an hour drive) last night and this thing is great..
The only problem is I already have my first waranty service appointment. [:@] The power seat button stoped working on us??? It worked on Saturday when I was looking at the truck, but last night when we went to buy it it was not working.. They kept appologizing and we still got the truck, but I was pissed, we drove all that way on the last day of the employee discount sale.. Just to find the one truck we found with the options and price we were looking for to be broken.
Oh well the joy of the truck so far outways that...
So question, Is this a known problem or was this a fluke?

Welcome to Dodge Forum.. I haven't seen anything about "burned out seat motors" or the like on here so I'm thinking you found your first "gremlin".. All new cars and trucks have 'em.. A loose wire here or a mis-seated wiring harness there... Sometimes a screw or a nut isn't tightened all the way and the dashboard rattles.. Or maybe a weather strip wasn't glued properly and ya find a small puddle or wet carpet in the floorboard after a hard rain... Little things that make ya raise one eyebrow and say "How'd that happen?".. LOL
