Hello!
Hi all.
Stopping in to introduce myself and let you know about me.
I graduated last year with a degree in Automotive Technology.
I'm ASE certified in 3 disciplines.
I am working as a journeyman technician in a great independent shop in South West Washington.
My current project is my 1992 Jeep Wrangler.
It was built with the 2.5, but I just finished installing a '92 MPFI 5.2 engine. It is backed by the Aisin AX15 from a 4.0 Wrangler. I'm using a Dakota 3.9 Magnum bellhousing to connect them. This attaches to the NP231 transfer case.
Dana 30 front axle and Ford Explorer 8.8 rear axle with 4.88's.
My other back burner project is my 1976 Plymouth Volare.
It is a tale of disaster. My freshly built .060 over 360 sheared the oil pump drive shaft and cooked the engine on break in. It was using Edelbrock heads and EFI...Oh well...someday!
