Default Help for a Newbie

I am in need of some help and I thought I would go to the professionals here at this forum. I wasn't sure which topic to list this...so I'm starting here

Here's the scoop! We now own a 2009 Journey and a 2003 Durango but my husband used to own a 1973 (?) Dodge Charger and it had a pistol grip shifter. That is the one thing he keeps talking about to this day.

Our 10th anniversary is coming up and I want to get him a great present. I have two ideas but not sure which is viable. 1) Find a shifter for a 1973 Charger (even though it won't be used) or 2) see if there is such a shifter for either the Journey or the Durango which CAN be used.

I have tried to find them but am having problems. Is there anybody out there who can make a recommendation??? I'm getting a bit desperate. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to DF
Conratulations 10th year anniversary, Have you looked the the classified section on this forum? I would try that and maybe call some of the speed shops.
