Cool old school master

20 years as a master teck, 60s,70s,and 80s, trying to wrap my mind around the computer age of automotive repair and diagnosis, not having much luck. I that i am over thinking. I am retired, and would like to stay kind of informed. I am currently restoring a 2000 dodge ram short box regular cab 4x4 with a 5.2 engine, automatic trans.

Welcome Aboard gatekeeper! Stay tuned - a Technician (or member) will jump in shortly to provide a possible solution. In the meantime, don't forget to browse Sub-Forums: 2nd Gen Ram (1994-2001) for stuff related to your ride.

Does the engine turn over by hand? If it does, check the starter for battery and ignition voltage.
