Upgraded to a Dodge Ram Van
Hi,
I just bought a 2002 Dodge Ram Van 3500 Passenger Van. Gonna sell or give away all the bench seats and make it into my kayak camping Van. Sold my small Chevy Astro and was looking for more room.
I need to fly out to pick it up and then we are going on a road trip to bring it home due to the fact that the truckers kept raising the price due to how long it is.
I can drive it home for 1/2 of what they want to deliver it.
Anyway I want to find out if it will make the trip OK or if there is something I need to look at before driving it 2000 miles. It has 108,000 miles on it and it was well maintained.

The only info I got was 5.9L 8 cylinder. When I looked it up I found Magnum 5.9L 250HP (190KW) v8. I bought it because it was big, pretty, and all new paint tires, wheels. Did not figure it would get the greatest of gas mileage and was hoping for 16 . Not sure what all the numbers mean.
Thanks for the info guess I should have talked to my son first but at my age I want comfort
