Does anyone know if it's possible to install a proximity alarm to prevent someone from stealing gas by drilling the gas tank that is compatable with the oem theft system on the truck or have it work by itself? Does it exist?

I don't know if there is alarm system from stealing someone fuel. You can try a motion detector with a rattle snake sounds.

 

Why not just buy a looking gas cap?
