ok so i have owned my 2001 durango for 4 years now love it has gave me some problems but its a vehicle any ways... i want to know if i can just remove my transfer case buy a longer driveshaft and just run RWD i just dont like the AWD anymore.

The best way to convert is to replace the 4x4 adapter housing with a housing from a 46RE 4x2 transmission and driveshaft.
