Default Check engine, brake, ABS light all on with other issues...HELP

I just bought a 2000 dodge durango 2 wheel drive with 5.2; the check engine light, brake light, and ABS light came on. This is my first dodge... I need help! Any suggestions or thoughts? BTW it has 124k miles and the odometer and speedometer does not seem to be working either...

Welcome to DF
Try replacing both the output sensor on the transmission and the speed sensor for the ABS on the rear diff.

A code reader will only get the codes out of the PCM and that is all. You need a scanner to read all the modules.

Master Tech-
Thanks again... your wisdom is priceless! I replaced both those sensors and all those lights are gone, my speedo and odometer works and my cruise works. I bought the code reader before I saw your post.. it did help out though.. it told me i had a P0500 code which was the speed sensor... I plan on doing all my own work to this vehicle as needed so i thought it might help... Anyhow you were a great help!!! I'm sure I will have more questions in the future like performance upgrades etc... Thanks again!
