I stumbled across this forum when I googled instructions to replace the spark plugs on my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi. A member put up a great writeup with photos. I followed his instruction the other day and found the job to go very smooth considering it looked so intimiating when I first looked at doing the work. I am not a mechanic but usually try to do all the maintenance work on my truck for 3 reasons. One, I'm cheap and don't like to pay $100/hr shop rate for something I can do myself and 2, I enjoy pulling wrenches, and 3 I live 3 hours away from the nearest Dodge dealership. So far this forum has saved me money by offering some good advice.

Just out of high school I worked in a couple different shops doing small maintenance jobs on vehicles like oil changes, inspections, tire repair, and accessory installations. I learned a lot and always thought about aprentising to become a journeyman mechanic but took a different path instead.
