Hi
Hi. My name is Todd and I go by the name of DakotaStone as a login name. I am currently on my second Dakota and I think that they are the best truck out. My first was a fully loaded 99 Sport and now I own a fully loaded Laramie. I love the way drive and feel. My wife even says that it drives better than her car, for a truck.
I am a Washington Army National Guard recruiter. I live in Vancouver, WA. I used to live in Spokane, WA; Calgary, Alberta; and Arlington Virginia.
My only gripe with Dodge is that they don't put enough HP's in the Daks. I read a lot of magazines and have seen that in the Grand Cherokees, they have more power from the same engine. Doesn't seem fair for some reason.
I haven't done too many mods yet. I put in a K&N filter into a the stock airbox, tinted both front windows, (20%) to match the backs, put on rear splash guards, and a chrome exhuast tip and a folding (not rolling) fully lockable tonneau cover. For some reason, those cosmetic mods I did makes it look a little bit beefier. Maybe its just me.
What I want to put in is a CAI, new exhaust (dual, split sides), and a superchip programmer. I also want to do some more cosmetic stuff like a new hood whent the come out, chrome bug deflector, chrome gas door, tube steps, maybe a roll pan for the rear and maybe a front replacement for the front bumper and have the damn bed lined of course.
Later in the future, when my warranty has worn off, I'll put in a supercharger, or a turbo and maybe some new cams.
