Hey fellas, been on the site for a while lurking around looking at the trucks. Finally registered! I drive a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L, havent been driving long but im hooked for a life time. My trucks a hand-me-down from my old man, has a lot of 'together' hours on it. Im from NY so if anyone here is from around there, PM me, wouldnt mind to go mudding sometime. Cheers, Dave!

I don't know what part of NY you are from, but I am from Long Island. I don't have a truck or a jeep, but I do go down to the Captree Boat Basin (or the old OBI parking lot for the times of the year that NY is charging for parking at Captree). Every now and then, a group of 4x4's shows up COVERED in dirt. I don't know where those guys are driving, but it sure looks like they had FUN! If you are around L.I., stop by Captree during the non-summer months or the OBI parking lot during summer months (nearby Captree) and see what shows up. A lot of nice cars get together. If you don't get there before 11am, most everything is GONE.

BTW: This is a 'older guy' venue. Not to say that young blood isn't welcome, but I've been heading down there before 9am and seen cars already on their way home. Friday nights at Bellmore are for a lot of the younger guys out to prove something. Sundays at Captree are for guys who just like cars.
