Default 1999 Dakota

Hello folks,

Jim here from Houston Texas, the 74 year old corn chewin' Camel smokin' Dodge drivin' beer drinkin' beef eatin' cowboy.

Please excuse any computing errors I may make, I have rebuilt the engines and transmissions in my tractors over the years but cannot work a computer right! Blame it on my age, please.

Since I started driving in 1952 (on the roads that is, I was driving since age 10 on my fathers farm driving tractors etc) I've owned Dodge after Dodge.

My favourite was my old beaten up 1960 Dodge Dart I owned from 1982 through 1985. That thing towed trailers better than any darn tractor I owned at the time. Superb automobile.

Now I'm on a 1999 Dodge Dakota pickup which has seen better days in terms of bodywork but mechanically that Magnum 5.9L V8 still pulls like a train even with 288,000 miles. The tranny was changed at 140K though and the current one is going to need changed soon as it is slippin', stickin' and whinin'.

Righty I've gone on like the old fart I am so I'll cut it short now.
