Default Ram red cummins 5.9

Have dropped in enough times over the years of owning the Cummins up front of a Dodge, that I'd figure it's time to register and say hi. Been a Dodge guy all my life with the beginings as early as when I started to drive, pullin power off of a 225 slant 6 in a 63 Valient( turbo'd it later but that's another story ! lol. oh that was in 1976 when turbos were found only on Cats and the like ) Always with Dodge, next came the 273 commando, then the 340 scat pac original pushin a 70 Dart Swinger, hmmm, well who would have figured that the diesel would ever pull like that. The list goes on a bit more but time to stop and chat about the newest member of the Dodge falmily that I'm drivin. Been looking for quite some time for a newer 4x4 with the cummins but with low Kms. (miles) Well patience pays off, found me a 78K Kms Quad Cab, SLT, loaded, 5.9 liter, Red 2007, 2500 Ram HD. Why'd I wait so long? Well the first thing it must have is a manual tranny and they just don't come available that easy and with such low Km's. Happy Days !! This puppy pulls 'almost' as hard as the 340 Dart !! the Dart did 13.5 sec. flat quarter miles at the drop of a hat. This RAM aint far off !!!! Ok it does have a few "minor" (lol) add ons like the edge chip and 4 inch exaust all the way but still it pulls like a monster. Takes a great motor to work majic !! Well back to the forum. Trust your Dodge is treatin you well ! RAM ON !
