I feel pretty stupid asking this one but it's the only thing I haven't figured out yet. I would like the dome lights to run on when getting in or out of the car but I can't seem to find anything that affects that. I have messed with the light control dial that turns them off completely and affects the dash lights, do I simply need to turn that further to the right? It seems a bit funky because I have the dash lights exactly where I would like them now.

Have you read your owners manual?

 

Yes I read the manual, cover to cover actually, guess I was bored. I ended up figuring it out about an hour after posting this. Now my big complaint is it would be nice if the interior lights came on for 15-30 seconds after I turn the car off. At night if it's raining and you need to grab something you're forced to turn the lights on manually. Small nit but my Escape has this feature and it's great. Oh, and the manual with additional features on DVD? Really? Unfortunately I'm not going to run from my computer to the car and back if I need to do something. I do love the app idea but it's so new they don't have enough details entered into it yet, and they don't have one for the Windows phone and I refuse to buy an iPhone. thanks for the feedback.

 

Have you tried to use the buttons on the steering to set up the interior lights?
