I have a 99 Caravan. It was down for a few months with the engine torn down, bad cam. When I put it back together and tried to start it , nothing happened. Checked the starter and it is fine. I was told it was the security system, and to lock and unlock the passenger door a few times. This did nothing. I did the same on the drivers door with the same results. Can anyone help. I really need it on the road.

First always make sure the battery is fully charged. If the battery is good and the engine doesn't crank. Hook up and battery charger and leave the key on for one hour. Because if the skim module has locked you out, this unlock the module so it will at least turn over.
