Default Hey, just 2 questions

im new here fron north CA. and I tried to find the right place to post this but couldnt. We got my gramps late 70s diesel 2x4. I have never worked one so i have no idea what motors its got beside its a inline 6 diesel. But i was wondering what MPG it gets and why one of the front brakes smokes because i think its sticking. The truck has been fully rebuilt, motor, trany, rear diff and new breaks including calipers.

Welcome to DF

Have you check out the diesel section? The inline 6 cylinder is a 5.9 12 valve engine, then in 1998 1/2 the engine was replace with the 5.9 24 valve encore engine and later with the 6.7 engine.
