Have a '92 Dynasty sitting in the backyard. Came from the sister inlaw's boyfriend. Before he sells it to a scrap yard I'm trying to see if it's worth my time to fix the problem.
Trying to determine if the ega is a non interface motor or not.

It's the Chrysler motor (3.3).
He was driving it, the timing belt broke. His 'mechanic' fixed it and he drove it for a couple more weeks. On the freeway driving he said there was a popping sound then it stopped. Trying to start it now there is a massive grinding / marbles shaking in a can (it sounds like a starter to me or maybe something came loose in the front timing area but I don't know without tearing into it).
I want to drop the pan and front end to see if it'll be worth my time (and money) to fix it. He'll sell it to me for $300, I'd feel comfortable putting another $200 into it (if the motor didn't smash itself to **** internally).
