2004 dakota seat problem

2004 dakota seat problem
Last night I moved the upright part of the drivers seat forward to get into the back of the cab. It is now stuck and I cannot move it back into a reclining position making driving impossible as the seat is all the way forward touching the steering wheel.
How do I fix this?

If the seat was working okay before, then i would look to see if something is jamed in the recliner. I also would post in the 2nd Gen Dakota section too. If you continue to have a problem.
