GM LS Engine in a Dodge Caravan
Has anyone heard of, or tried to put a GM LS1 or similar engine in a Dodge Mini Van? I'm on my 4th one, an '08 with over 100,000 miles that for me, is about half life. The interior is perfect and this is the optimum vehicle for my purposes.
I assume a complete front sub frame would have to be designed and a 'Vette rear positioned transmission might allow a drive shaft tunnel.
A new van will be at least $25K and I'd be willing to bet the conversion would be about that or less. Would make a heck of a ride with good mileage.
